Art of Lying
The art of lying
When u decide to lie to the people around you. friends, mom, partner. Doesn't matter who.

Once you successfully execute your first lie
--- about your money, promises, sneak outs ---
After the first lie, you got two choices.
No one wants to opt for the second choice for whatever cost!
The only visible safe path is to go out of your way,
1. escalate the pitch of lie to unfathomable decibel levels.
Many a times, you get to architect the environment around you for safe breeding of that lie.
Sometimes it's inevitable to
_ orchester others as pawns to reinforce the lie you decided to tell.
_ buy out materials you never wanted to own, but you do it just because you need to breed the lie in safest way possible.
_ keep injecting thoughts into the victim.
Build walls around the lie, guard it with army,
train them, weaponize them and allow them to acquire the victim's mind.
The complications keep building up on each lie you tell.
and finally, continue this self-assigned task for eternity untill --- there's no real end ---
2. Confess about your lie
More the levels of lie you architected, more harsher are the consequences you face after confession.
break the ice once and for all.

The victim is startled to death with disbelief and rushing adrenaline.
starts questioning the years of connection, memories they've made together with you, secrets you had shared before.
No matter how many good moments you've had, the victim questions every good and bad moments with doubt of belief. All they see is lack.
Eventually the victim calculates your worth on a mere calculator. The sum is always lack.
you consciously decided to drop your value in their life, like dropping glass bottle on concrete.
Impossible to stitch back.
Can't escape the scars even if you do.
You decrease your points drastically in their scoreboard,
loss of faith, respect, dependency.
serious consequence?
The last time you get to speak with them is when u confessed your lie.
Loss of contact, ignorance, get ghosted.
You delve in sea of grief if not prepared enough to stomach the consequences.
Thus, escalating your lie seems easier than confession.
P.S. - Do Not Lie
CORNER CASE:
When you have told a lie and the victim believed it without any questions or doubt.
And the event for which you had architected the lie has ended.
Don't ever confess about your past actions and don't ever discuss about that event.
Let the lie live.
